Monitoring sites allows you to keep a record of measurements taken on your farm. Set up monitoring sites for places on your farm where you regularly take measurements then add readings wherever you are using the mobile app. You can easily view a log of measurements and see changes over time using graphs and history.

How to set up a monitoring site

On the fieldmargin web app select the ‘DATA’ tab. Click on ‘Add monitoring site’.&nbsp;

Give the monitoring site a name, for example ‘Weather Station’.&nbsp;

Click on the farm map to set the location that the data is collected from.&nbsp;

Type the name of a metric that you would like to record, for example ‘Rainfall’.

Select the type of data collected, it can be can be temperature, percentage, numbers or text. If the data collected is numbers or text you have the option to type a unit for the metric (e.g. mm, m/s, g, ml).

You can add multiple metrics to track at a single location by clicking ‘Add more metrics’.

Click ‘CREATE’ to complete your monitoring site.

Open the hamburger menu from the top left.&nbsp;

Select the ‘Data’ button on the menu. &nbsp;

Select the monitoring site where you would like to add readings.&nbsp;

Set the date and time off the reading. This will automatically be set to the current day and time.

To edit or delete data select the monitoring site and click on the '...' icon next to the date of the reading. Select ‘Edit' or ‘Delete’ as required.

4. Click on ‘AddReadings’.
5. Set the date and time off the reading. This will automatically be set to the current day and time.
6. Add the readings for your metrics. 
7. Click ‘Save’. 
8. To edit or delete data select the monitoring site and click on the '...' icon next to the date of the reading. Select ‘Edit' or ‘Delete’ as required.

To delete data click the cross above the record. You cannot edit data on the Web App.&nbsp;

Click on ‘VIEW GRAPH’ to view a graph of your data.

Change the metric displayed on the graph using the top right drop-down menu.

Choose to show readings over past week, past month and past year.&nbsp;

2. Click on ‘VIEW GRAPH’ to view a graph of your data.
3. Change the metric displayed on the graph using the top right drop-down menu.
4. Choose to show readings over past week, past month and past year.&nbsp;
