Setting field usages on the map

Update the usage on lots of fields in one go while viewing what you had in fields the previous year.

You can use field usages to record what is happening in your fields, for example crops being grown or livestock. Each use has a colour which displays on the map so you can see what’s going on at a glance. You can quickly set usages for multiple fields on your farm so that you have a detailed cropping map ready in minutes.

All usages are set per Farm Year so that you can keep track of your rotations across years and quickly check areas produced in a given year. You can even see the previous year's field usage during this process so that you can quickly give everything that is following a particular crop the same usage.

Web

  1. To set field uses go to fields on the side menu and click "Set Uses".

  2. Click "Create New"

  3. Give the usage a crop type, description and select a colour

  4. Click Save

  5. Choose the fields to update by selecting from the list below or clicking them on the map. You can see what was grown in the field last year written under the field name.

  6. Select "Save" and the field usage will be set.

Mobile

  1. Select the field tab and tap "Add Usage".

  2. Tap Select usage

  3. Tap + ADD New Usage

  4. Give the usage a crop type, description and select a colour. Tap Create and Save.

  5. Tap "Select fields". Select the fields by tapping the field names on the list or choosing them from the map. You can see what was grown in the field last year written under the field name.

  6. Tap "Done"
