Level-up your livestock records by splitting and merging herds to keep the right records with the right animals.
This feature is available on our iOS and Android apps.
How to SPLIT a herd:
Select 'Livestock' in the hamburger menu
Choose the herd of animals you wish to split into groups
Tap 'SPLIT HERD'
Give each group of animals a name, e.g. 'Lambs; and 'Ewes'
Enter the number of animals you would like in each group
To split into more than two groups, tap '+ ADD MORE'
Tap 'SAVE' in the top right
How to MERGE a herd:
Select 'Livestock' in the hamburger menu
Choose a herd of animals you wish to merge with another group
Select another group of animals (or multiple groups) you would like to merge into one group
Edit the herd name (and change the colour if you wish)
Tap 'SAVE' in the top right corner.
Merging livestock herds will archive your selected herds and add the number of animals to the main herd.
