Copy field usages and sub-fields from the previous farm years after starting new Farm Year

This can only be done via our web app (notes.fieldmargin.com)

  1. Go to the Fields Tab

  2. Click 'Edit Fields' - the blue writing at the top of the fields list

  3. Click on 'Copy Previous Year'

  4. A pop up will appear making sure you would like to proceed - this will overwrite any sub-fields or field usages currently set in that Farm Year. If you want to proceed, click on 'Yes, I want to continue'

  5. You will then have the option to copy sub-fields or only use the main field boundaries - select whichever you prefer

  6. Next, choose if you would like to apply the same field usages you had in the previous year.

  7. The buttons will then go grey - please wait while sub-fields/ usages are copied.
