When you change farm year you have the option to copy across field usages and sub-fields from the previous year. This message only shows the first time you change the farm year. If you didn't choose to copy data across when starting your new Farm Year, use the steps below to transfer field usages and sub-fields across.
This can only be done via our web app (notes.fieldmargin.com)
Go to the Fields Tab
Click 'Edit Fields' - the blue writing at the top of the fields list
Click on 'Copy Previous Year'
A pop up will appear making sure you would like to proceed - this will overwrite any sub-fields or field usages currently set in that Farm Year. If you want to proceed, click on 'Yes, I want to continue'
You will then have the option to copy sub-fields or only use the main field boundaries - select whichever you prefer
Next, choose if you would like to apply the same field usages you had in the previous year.
The buttons will then go grey - please wait while sub-fields/ usages are copied, it may take a few moments for the map to copy over.
