When you change Farm Year you have the option to copy across field usages and sub-fields from the previous year.

This message only shows the first time you change the farm year. If you did not receive the message simply send an email to support@fieldmargin.com and the support team will be able to set up your Farm Years correctly.

Duplicate sub-fields may appear when you are connected to a weak internet connection and/or you go through the process of copying sub-fields more than one time.

When copying sub-fields to a new Farm Year it may take a minute or two to get all data transferred, particularly if you have a lot of fields or intricate field boundaries. If you restart the process, duplicates will appear each time.

How to delete duplicates

  1. Select sub-field from the fields list or on the map

  2. Click 'Go to parent field'

  3. Under the Sub-Fields section, click 'EDIT'

  4. Click 'Use previous'

  5. Select which farm year of sub-field mapping you wish to copy
(You'll get a preview of what the sub-fields look like, so you can make sure that they are the ones you want to copy.)

  6. Choose if you would like the previous usages applying to the current year's sub-fields

  7. Click 'Close', then 'SAVE'.

If you're having trouble getting your sub-fields set up correctly, please get in touch at support@fieldmargin.com and someone from the support team will be happy to help you out.
